You star in the new Spring 2025 campaign launched under the slogan “On Time and Beauty.” What does the association between Time and Beauty suggest to you?

To begin with, that time is the most precious thing. I think that experiences and memories usually remain in that nostalgia of the past because they are beautiful things. We tend to forget what we don’t like, but the memories and moments that made us happy stay forever.

And what do I want to express with that? Sometimes I think that “time is gold,” as people always say, but at the same time I feel that time is not what defines me—it’s what I do with it. What am I doing as I walk that path, this journey that is life?

So, Beauty…

Beauty is everything that moves and thrills us. And what moves us and thrills us? So many things that happen to us every day… Sometimes we think beauty has to be only what we see, in terms of the physical, but we find it in nature; beauty is when I look into a child’s eyes, which are pure innocence. There’s beauty when I play with my dog and he looks at me as if to say “do whatever you want.” Those moments of happiness are very beautiful. Beauty is pure feeling—it’s something that makes me vibrate.

“I’m not defined by time, but by what I do with it.”

This launch is an ode to what endures, to what survives fashions and trends: What’s the formula for staying relevant for more than three decades as a public figure?

There’s no magic formula—it’s hard. In my case there’s been personal growth that has accompanied these years of work. Achieving that balance between work, building a family, cultivating myself, stepping a little beyond my comfort zone… all of that ultimately bears fruit, a result, which turns me into the person I am now—neither better nor worse.

It’s also true that I didn’t just settle comfortably into being a model, because I knew it was a career with a very limited time span. Plus, I always realized that, even though I love my job, what truly made me happy was prioritizing my personal life. And I believe that has given me the peace of playing on both fields.

Any recommendations for staying grounded and present?

Personally, I feel comfortable with what I do. I live it with gratitude and empathy because I never dreamed I’d still be working as a model at this stage. I’m not only grateful—I throw myself into every project, because it’s a joy to keep working after having raised an entire family.

Now I’m starting to have time for myself. My life is falling into place; all the pieces fit. A wonderful new chapter is beginning—Time, Beauty—quality time for me and my loved ones, and for the future that lies ahead.

So the key is to be authentic, find balance, and be aware…

Without forgetting empathy, which is putting yourself in others’ shoes, knowing how to work as a team, understanding what’s going on around you. Empathy is getting socially involved in causes that, at first glance, might not be the ones that “should” concern me, but of which I’m very aware. It’s becoming conscious, and when one recognizes that they’re part of an environment, a society, a world, and a planet, you become an active and vital person. For that reason I’m living a very good stage.
